The hoodlum release from any major torrent network in my experience is the best version and is already the original version so no need to downgrade to v1. I’d give that a shot, if it’s fine you know it’s the steam version causing the trouble. If it does not solve issue then I’d look at GPU drivers and malware. r/sanandreas.

Everything was working completely fine until I tried to aim a gun. For whatever reason, the camera forces itself down to the floor when aiming; and holding it up makes the camera super jittery and nearly impossible to aim. San Andreas PC not recognizing mouse. I have the San Andreas PC version installed from Steam. And it wont recognize any Mouse input, I cant use the Mouse at all. I spawned a jet pack to find the two gang tags I’m missing, and it won’t fly straight. Having the same issue. Makes jetpack missions a pain to try and play. So its because of the control scheme. I switched my controls to “classic” and the jetpack can go straight again. Ok I’ll give that a go.
I keep getting this really annoying glitch where I suddenly can't rotate my orientation while driving or when I try to do a drive-by, my mouse just doesn't work in San Andreas - it's really annoying during missions and I couldn't find a fix for this in other forums - I was wondering if there's a reason that this happens.
