i have a citroen berlingo van and the engine light is on sometimes it will go out then come on . when it is out the vehicle runs great but when it is on it runs beloew 3000rpm with loss of power this is termed as limp mode what can the problem b i have had it checked with a obd scanner but thay cant tell me what the problem is thay say it may b electrical or the egr valvr or the glow plug

After doing quite a bit of work to try and resolve the issue, my 56 plate Berlingo Multispace with the 1.6 HDi engine is still running lumpy, burning oil and generally stinking up the place.
