In the market for new tires and I'm between the Michelin Defender 2s and the Michelin Crossclimate 2s. I drive a 2017 Rav4 AWD in the Chicagoland area. Majority of my travel is local commuting with the occasional ~3 hour weekend trip. Both tires are the same price around here. The Defender 2s are pretty new so there are limited reviews on them. The USA versions do not have this rating. If you check the Michelin UK site each tire in the Crossclimate 2 family has a different 'Efficiency' rating depending on size and whether it is std or xl rated. I found efficinecy ratings for the Crossclimate 2 size r18 to range from A for a 235/60r18, B for a 235/50r18 and C for a 225/40r18.
